The A229 Plus records up to 2K QHD at 60fps at a 140-degree field of view for the front, and 2K QHD at 30fps at a 160-degree field of view for the rear, ensuring wide coverage. That's true end-to-end clarity — front bumper to rear plate.

The A229 Plus is the industry's first dashcam using two Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensors, which offer 2.5 times wider dynamic range and higher light sensitivity than the previous STARVIS technology, bringing much less noise and motion blur during day and night recording. 

🌙 Superior Night Vision The A229 Plus utilises advanced HDR technology to automatically balance exposure, toning down bright lights and boosting dark areas to reveal hidden details day and night — critical for capturing licence plates without washout from your own headlights. 

📡 5GHz Wi-Fi & App Connectivity The upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi connection allows for faster data transfer, smooth video previewing, downloading, and sharing via the VIOFO app. You can also connect directly via USB-C for transfers of up to 20MB/s. 

🛰️ Quad-Mode GPS A built-in Quad-Mode GPS Module provides precise location tracking, so every clip is stamped with speed and route data — invaluable for insurance claims or disputes.
